On June 2, Mr. Imamura and Mr. Shimizu, both Senior Manager of Civil Engineering Management Division of Kajima Corporation, gave a lecture in the endowed courses at Akita International University supported by Mitsubishi Corporation, Venti Japan, Hokuto Bank and us.
Mr. Imamura introduced Kajima Corporation's civil engineering and construction technologies, and also referred to their decarbonization technologies such as "CO2-SUICOM®" for CCU activities, a Carbon Negative Concrete developed by Kajima in collaboration with The Chugoku Electric Power, Denka and Landes, and blue carbon research efforts using seaweeds. Mr. Shimizu explained about the construction of Akita Offshore Wind project in Akita port and Noshiro Port area, which is a project the students are familiar with. We believe they were able to listen to the lecture with a clear image in mind.
