On June 9, Mr. Onishi, Japanese Country Leader, Offshore Wind Division of GE Renewable Energy, talked about the mechanism of wind generators and GE's leadership principle in the endowed courses at Akita International University supported by Mitsubishi Corporation, Venti Japan, Hokuto Bank and us.
In addition to easy-to-understand explanation over the types of wind turbines and the characteristics of wind power even for the students in humanities courses, Mr. Onishi went on to explain GE's leadership principle with a focus on the philosophy and the personnel policies of GE, a global company with 130 years' history. Mr. Onishi also outlined their Haliade-X wind turbine, which will be adopted in our projects.
We believe his lecture had deepened the students' understanding.
